"I won't tell anyone, Echo. I promise." Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. "You didn't do that-did you? It was done to you?" No one ever asked that question. They stared. They whispered. They laughed. But they never asked.

"An edgy romance that pulls you in and never lets go. I was hooked!"-Gena Showalter,  New York Times bestselling author of the Intertwined series

So wrong for each other...and yet so right.

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.  Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again

Wildest Dreams (Fantasyland Series)

Wildest Dreams (Fantasyland #1)

(Adult Romance)

by

Seoafin "Finnie" Wilde was taught by her parents that life was meant to be lived, every breath was a treasure and to seek every adventure she could find. And she learns this lesson the hard way when they perish in a plane crash when she's fifteen. But she never forgets and when she discovers there is a parallel universe where every person has a twin, she finds a witch who can send her there so she can see her parents again and have the adventure of a lifetime.

But nearly upon arrival in the Winter Wonderland of Lunwyn, she realizes she's been played by her twin of the alternate universe and shortly finds herself walking down the aisle to be wed to The Drakkar.

Instantly thrown into inauspicious circumstances, with years of practice (she did, of course, survive that elephant stampede, if she could do that, she can do anything), Finnie bests the challenges and digs into her adventure. But as Frey Drakkar discovers the woman who is his new wife is not Princess Sjofn, a woman he dislikes (intensely) but instead, his Finnie, a free-spirit with a thirst for venture just like him (not to mention she is his destiny), without her knowledge he orders his new bride bound to his frozen world, everlasting.

My Review...

Soooooo, this is the last series of Kristen Ashley's for me to read then I have read all her books and what can I say but I friggin' love Kristen Ashley's work so much. They are awesome! So far every series or stand alone books have NOT let me down at all. Nope not at all.  Now about this book...

The reason I left this series for last is because I am not a big fan of parallel worlds but holy comoly KA did not disappoint once again. I absolutely loved Frey and his wee Finnie.

I loved the world that KA has created in the Fantasyland series and I CAN NOT wait to read the next ones but I will try and savor because she does not have a new book out till mid summer so must ration my KA reading.

Frey Drakkar may have been the typical man who makes decisions and I mean big decisions without talking to his woman which caused a wee bit of an issue but let's be honest Finnie was also not big on fully communicating either which got them in a bit of trouble but Frey stole my heart and of course Finnie's and made it all worth while.

I definitely recommend this series and you will love all the characters and will fall in love with Frey and Finnie. Enjoy!

Book Boyfriend Monday - Christian Grey

Well all I have decided to bring back my Christian Grey because I have missed him so and any excuse to revisit him I will jump at that chance. *Sigh* oh fifty!

Hmmm the reasons why I love Christian
1) He was broken and now whole (I am such a sucker for that theme - Insert shoulder shrug there oh well)
2) He is loving and sweet
3) He is beautiful
4) Does not hurt that he is loaded as well
5) He has a great family
6) He is a great partner and father

I could go on and on so instead I will give you some examples of why I love Christian...

"Don't," he murmurs, then kisses me lightly.  "Why don't you like to be touched? I whisper, staring up into soft gray eyes.  "Because I'm fifty shades of fucked up, Anastasia."  (Oh Christian!) .Fifty shades of Grey

"I've missed you so much, Anastasia," he breathes.  I want to struggle out his hold, to maintain some distance, but his arms are wrapped around me. He's pressing me to his chest. I melt. Oh, this is where I want to be.  Fifty shades darker

"Just you, Anastasia," he whispers. Fifty Shades darker

"You. Are. Mine," he snarls, emphasizing each word.  He pushes away from me and bends, hands on his knees as if he's run a marathon. "For the love of God, Ana." Fifty shades darker

"Anastasia Steele. I love you. I want to love, cherish, and protect you for the rest of my life. Be mine. Always. Share my life with me. Marry me." Fifty shades darker

"Oh, baby, please come back to me. I'm sorry. Sorry for everything. Just wake up. I miss you. I love you..." Fifty shades freed

He grins and kisses me again. "I love you, Mrs. Grey." "I love you, too, Christian. Always." Fifty shades freed

Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades #1)

by

When literature student Anastasia Steele is drafted to interview the successful young entrepreneur Christian Grey for her campus magazine, she finds him attractive, enigmatic and intimidating. Convinced their meeting went badly, she tries to put Grey out of her mind - until he happens to turn up at the out-of-town hardware store where she works part-time.

The unworldly, innocent Ana is shocked to realize she wants this man, and when he warns her to keep her distance it only makes her more desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her - but on his own terms.

Shocked yet thrilled by Grey's singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success – his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving adoptive family – Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a passionate, physical and daring affair, Ana learns more about her own dark desires, as well as the Christian Grey hidden away from public scrutiny.

Can their relationship transcend physical passion? Will Ana find it in herself to submit to the self-indulgent Master? And if she does, will she still love what she finds?

Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

A heartwarming and witty debut novel about a spoiled city girl whose life is turned upside down when her father loses his job and she's shipped to Broken Spoke, Texas. Who knew country-living could melt this snobby ice-queen's heart?

My Review...

So, Let me tell you Gwendolyn Heasley did a great job portraying a spoiled rotten girl that you just wanted to shake her so she could see beyond her self.

For the most part I liked this story I felt I needed a bit more but I can not put my finger on what I needed though.

In the end you are routing for Corrine and you are so happy that she gets her head out of her ass and sees the big picture.

I think the best parts were all the people she meets in Texas like her grandparents which I adore, Kitsy who is so loveable and of course Bubby.  I really hope there are good things about Corrine and Bubby in the future but I have a feeling that my luck might run out on this thought with the next book in the series. (fingers still crossed though)

It is a cute story about finding out who we are and what is important and I think that was shown in the book.

For a cute YA read I do recommend this and I give it a 3.5 stars thumbs upthumbs upthumbs up .5

My Review...

So I have mixed reviews about this. I thought the story had some high points but at times I thought it  was more sex then story. Don't get me wrong I am all over the smutty parts as Olivia had my face turning red in some parts and if you like that stuff then you will NOT be disappointed in that area.

I loved Brian the whole way through and loved the fact that he is a hopeless romantic. Myrna's insecurities sometimes got on my nerves but her strengths definitely made up for that part since she is such a great addition to the group. I did love all the band members and I will be reading on to find out more about what happens to these guys and see how they find their way in love.

If you like erotica then this is definitely recommended to you.

I give this a 3.5 to 4 thumbs up! thumbs upthumbs upthumbs up .5

My Review...

So, I thought this was going be the typical everyday girl marries billionaire and lives happily ever after. I was pleasantly surprised with this story and loved all the characters from Alexa, her best friend, her family and especially Nick.

As you know I have a thing for the broken man who becomes whole and Yep this is another one of those stories where Nick is broken from his dysfunctional family and does not want to open up his heart. Of course he ends up needing Alexa as much as she needs him for "business marriage" and finds out that not only does he need this marriage to work he finds that Alexa's pure heart helps to crack open his heart and helps him see what he is missing and of course makes him whole. *sigh* my favorite part.

I thought this book was a great read and would say it is worth a read.

I don't know what The Marriage Trap (Marriage to a Billionaire #2) is going to be like but I can not wait to continue reading this series.

I give it 4 thumbs up for sure! thumbs upthumbs upthumbs upthumbs up
