Sometimes discovering the truth can leave you more hopeless than believing the lies…

That’s what seventeen-year-old Sky realizes after she meets Dean Holder. A guy with a reputation that rivals her own and an uncanny ability to invoke feelings in her she’s never had before. He terrifies her and captivates her all in the span of just one encounter, and something about the way he makes her feel sparks buried memories from a past that she wishes could just stay buried.

Sky struggles to keep him at a distance knowing he’s nothing but trouble, but Holder insists on learning everything about her. After finally caving to his unwavering pursuit, Sky soon finds that Holder isn’t at all who he’s been claiming to be. When the secrets he’s been keeping are finally revealed, every single facet of Sky’s life will change forever.

My Review....

I was so looking forward to this book after reading Slammed and Point of Return by Colleen Hoover.  Sometimes after an author writes an amazing book from the get-go other books can lie flat but that is sooooooo NOT the case with this book. Hopeless was amazing and breath taking.

The story is a shocking story with so much grief and ugliness. I have to admit that I did not expect the outcome of Sky's past.  For the first part I thought I had it all figured it out and then Nope not so much. Did NOT see that coming.

The relationship of Sky and Holder is beautiful.  The have been drawn to each other from the very beginning. Their pull towards one another is enormous and almost unnatural yet beautiful.  This is a story where love conquers all and where you find love and the most unexpected places.

I want to say so much more but I don't want to put in any spoilers because there is such beauty to this story that you have to read without any input from others.

This is an amazing book and it is one of those books that has had me thinking about days after reading it and for sure I will be thinking about it in the future as well.

5 Amazing Thumbs up!
