Synopsis from Goodreads

My Review...

It has felt like it has been forever since Knight & Play and was left with the doozy of an ending.  The book picks up right where it left off.  I know two wrongs don't make a right but I will be honest I have been routing for Lucien that beautifully broken sex god from the beginning.

I loved the power reversal of Lucien and Sophie.  The both were on similar journeys finding themselves and where it was leading was part of the journey. But true love is hard to find no matter how much you fight it.  It is so much easier to put up walls than get hurt.

Poor poor Lucien my heart breaks for him and his inability to love.  For Sophie even though love has been a bumpy road she still has the capacity to love whole heartedly.

I loved how this series ended.  The epilogue warmed my heart.  I feel so much more complete now. :)

4.5 thumbs up!
