Title: Burn For You (Boys of the South #5)
Age Group: New Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 21, 2014
Cover Designer: Sarah Hansen at Okay Creations

Book Description:
Beau Montgomery is not the typical single dad for three reasons:

1.      He’s rich and famous.

2.      He needs a nanny, like yesterday.

3.      He has no idea if eight month old, Mia, is actually his daughter.

Only, number three doesn’t matter to him at all, because he’s determined to give up everything to be a standup dad, including racing, partying, and his very favorite vice, women. Until that is, he’s invited to race at Monaco—a dream he’s always had. Now, all those things he’d sworn to give up are at his fingertips, including the very inconveniently hot nanny, Landry Basnight, who’s travelling with him.

Landry Basnight is the typical college graduate for three reasons:

1.      She’s broke and in debt up to her eyeballs.
2.      She needs a job, like yesterday.
3.      Nothing exciting ever happens in her life.

Only, number three is about to change, because she’s been hired by Beau Montgomery, son of NASCAR Racing Royalty. Landry’s parents are big fans of the Montgomerys, while she couldn’t care less—all she wants to do is make a dent in her student loan bill. However, that doesn’t stop her from falling in love with her little charge, nor does it make it easier to resist Beau’s charms.  In fact , she doesn’t resist at all.

Lines are crossed and then forgotten as Beau and Landry grow closer, but when Beau’s ex-girlfriend, the woman he’s loved since high school, and Mia’s mother shows up, everything starts to fall apart for the new couple.

Will their love weather the storm, or will Beau abandon Landry for the family he’s always wanted?

My Review ...

Source: eARC for Honest Review from Author and Wordsmith Publicity
Genre: NA Contemporary

This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.  I so adore this series.  Beau has always been in the background but has kept me intrigued throughout the series.

Beau is misunderstood but loyal to a fault and really just wants to love and be loved.  He first thinks he's found that when he meets Paisley Sawyer but really finds true love when he meets his daughter Mia.

Even though all he wants to do is help Paisley since he wasn't able to save his mother.  Argh! Paisley she was hard to like.  If it wasn't for the shining moments with Mia and her heartbreak it would be near impossible but Mia is the catalyst for all kinds of love.

When Beau meets Landry he has another urge to save her but quickly realizes that she doesn't need any saving only needs loving.

Beau and Landry's story is sweet and hopeful.  I think it's Beau's love for Mia that makes me love Beau so much more.

Beau is portrayed as the typical womanizing bad boy but in reality he is anything but.  The only person who sees the real him and accepts everything about him is the softhearted Landry.

They bring nothing but the best in one another. Gah! it was such a sweet love story and so what I needed at the time to read.

This series just keeps getting better and better.  I so hope that we finally get Parker's story because I'm dying to know what's behind all his mysteries.

4 Beau loving Thumbs up!
