My Review ... 

A curse + a voodoo queen + a gorgeous bachelor = a quirky fun romance.

Deep in the bayou many years ago a curse was made by a scorned woman to the doomed Dumont Bachelors.  Since this curse the Dumont men are perpetual players never finding love.  However, even though they have been cursed and its has been ingrained in their heads to stay away from ALL Mauvais woman.  But it has been hard for Marc since he landed eyes on Allie even though he tries not to believe in the curse but deep down he does believe in it which causes a lot of grief for him.

Allie doesn't believe in her voodoo ways but plays it up because it is easier to give in then fight against it but what she really wants is to be loved and love right back.  For years she has been pining over Marc but it has always been unrequited. 

Fate, persistence, stubbornness, strength and true love have a way of breaking through even 100 year old curses.   With the curse over their heads it makes they inevitable attraction between Allie and Marc trying, quirky and sweet. 

This was my first Macy Beckett book and it won't be my last.  This series had such a sweet way about it and I can't wait to find out what happens more with these Dumont men.
