My In Another Life & Eight Days Review . . .
One of my favorite past times is walking and listening to stories by Cardeno C. So whenever I get the chance to listen or read one of Cardeno's stories, I jump at the opportunity.
In Another life it was great short story with a nice 'what if' twist. Shiloh Raben & Travis Kahn have an instant connection and quickly make their relationship work. It's easy to work when you know its right, but what if that's not a reality but a possibility for these two?
At 18, Shiloh makes a life altering choice which sets things in motion. After waking up from a bad choice he comes face to face with his potential future. Now given a second chance he now knows the tools to make it work.
I loved how it was set up and presented to us. Super sweet story about second chances, love and hope.
In Eight Days we have Maccabe Fried and Josh Segal whom are childhood friends. These friends met through family as they never would have become friends outside of that realm, as they have nothing in common. However, that didn't stop them from having feelings for each other.
In this short story it goes through eight monumental days that have great significance for these two. At first both boys are confused but then learn to act on their feelings. For Josh, he feels like this is a dream come true but for Maccabe he also has to think about his baseball career. Which makes him okay with staying hidden.
At first that's enough for Josh but then he wants more. Being young doesn't always give us the gift to communicate properly which gets these two boys into trouble.
Now years later and Maccabe finally goes after what he has always felt was his. This was another sweet story about second chances and friends to lovers.
I absolutely adore Cardeno and these two short stories were the answer to walking in cold weather because they did nothing but warm me up inside with all the love and steam.

My All of Me Review . . .
Abel is an alpha and about to be mated to his life partner fellow alpha Kai, but that event didn't happen when Abel gets his heart ripped open from Kai.
Now years later and Abel has never stopped loving Kai but he's a stubborn man and an even more stubborn wolf. When Kai's sister comes to him for help he quickly says no but eventually gives in.
And thankfully he did because he quickly realizes that not all is as it seems and now he has to find a way to convince Kai that they can still have their dreams together.
Normally I love Cardeno's wolf stories and I did like this one as well but not as much as the others. I think since it was a shorter story it was too quick paced and I had to rewind and re-listen a few times to understand the progression of things. However, once I was properly into the story then Abel and Kai started to win me over.
Another sweet second chance story about true love and rightful paths.
