HOLD MY BREATH
NA Contemporary Romance-Stand Alone
Scheduled to release: November 18, 2016

BLURB:
Fractions of seconds can do lots of damage. One decision can ruin lives. A blink can be tragic. And loving a Hollister…can hurt like hell.

I would know.

They say the average person can hold their breath under water for two full minutes when pushed to the extremes. Will Hollister has been holding his for years. The oldest of two elite swimming brothers, Will was always a dominant force in the water. But in life, he preferred to let his younger
brother Evan be the one to shine.

Evan got the girl, and Will…he got to bury all of the secrets. A brother’s burden, the weight of it all nearly left him to drown.

The daughter of two Olympians, my path was set the day my fingertips first touched water. My future was as crystal clear as the lane I dominated in the pool—swim hard, win big, love a Hollister.

My life with Evan burned bright. He gave me arms to come home to, and a smile that fooled the world into believing everything was perfect. But it was Will who pushed me. Will…who really knew me.

And when all of the pieces fell, it was Will who started to pick them up.

In the end, the only thing that matters are those few precious seconds—and what we decide to do while we still have them in our grasp.

My Hold My Breathe Review . . .

When I first started to read this book I was personally in a grumpy mood so, I wasn't sure how this book was going to play out for me, but as Ginger Scott usually does, she just kept chipping away at me that it forced me out of my mood and I started to fall in love with Will and Maddy.

Poor Will, Ginger Scott just kept throwing him in the worse scenarios possible but he kept persevering which only made him more loveable.

At first there was 3 friends and an Olympic dream.  Then one tragic night changes it all.

"It isn't Will's fault he survived."

Maddy & Will now have their potential dream in site but can they handle the haunts of the past?

" . . . This life is over in a blink.  Don't spend so much of it punishing yourself over something that wasn't even your goddamned fault in the first place."
Gah! Will, be still my heart.  He had to go through so many hoops to find his very deserved slice of happiness.  The whole time I was rooting for Will but at the same time ' I was like what is he hiding'.

"How could you lie?" I ask.  He turns the water off, then looks me square in the eyes. "How could I not?" he says.
They both have their past demons but maybe together they can fight through them?

But he doesn't see what I see-a man whose soul is so tired that it may not have much fight left in it.
Sometimes we are our worst enemies.

Those demons of his-they slow him down.

Gah! This was a beautiful story about love and second chances.  This is one of those stories that needs to be experienced.  Therefore the review is at a minimum to decrease any spoiler chances.   I absolutely adored this book and was so happy for the chance to review it.  As usual Ginger Scott has delivered yet another great story.

4.5 Shedding the demons thumbs up!
