The Wright Boss by K.A. Linde Review Blitz #bookreview #teasers

A new stand alone office romance from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde... I’ve always had one rule: Don’t mix business and pleasure. But then Landon Wright comes home to his family’s construction company with a broken back and a beaten heart and ends up as my new sexy boss. As the office gets heated, I’m thinking about throwing the rulebook out the window. If only there weren’t a million reasons this could never work. We may have shared a single perfect kiss, but I can’t let our intense connection cloud my judgment. Not with everything I’ve worked for on the line. Dating your boss is so very, very wrong…even if he feels so Wright.

Part 2 but can be read as a Standalone

My The Wright Boss Review . . .

This is technically book two but it can be read as a standalone.  I personally feel like reading the Wright Brother first helps set the stage though and makes it a better experience reading them as a series instead of a standalone.

I was so excited for Heidi and Landon's story and I did like it but part of Heidi's character I didn't love, which saddens me because I was hoping for a kick ass super strong heroine.  And she was at times but she also was very insecure as well, and I didn't like as many insecurities as she had.  I know we all have insecurities I get that but constantly reading them in the romance genre gets tiresome at times.

I love the Wright family and can't wait for more from this series.  In the Wright Brother we meet Landon and his horrific wife so when I found out that the Wright Boss was about Landon I was dying to find out more of the whys and hows of Landon's choices.

Landon finally breaks free of his shackles to follow his heart and come back into the fold of his loving family.   Heidi adores Landon but isn't confident in his love for her since his ex-wife is so recent.

Eventually Heidi starts to trust in Landon's feelings but when one thing goes haywire, she's quick to assume and run.

My heart ached with the loss of him.  I'd only just gotten him . . . only just fallen in love . . . and then it had all been tragically ripped away.  (I have to admit this irked me because it was by her doing no one else)
Even though I was wanting more from Heidi I still quite enjoyed the story.  It was fun and loving.
And now I can't wait for The Wright Mistake and we get to finally see behind Austin, and see him and Julia fall in love.

3 The Wright Choice thumbs up!
