by Nix Knox (Goodreads Author)
If the fall is inevitable, might as well enjoy the tumble.
Months after a scaffolding accident leaves him in chronic agony, construction worker Ryan Powell has exhausted all that Western medicine has to offer. He’s willing to try anything, even yoga, to get some relief.
He expected to feel out of place at the New Age Center, but he never expected a power-outage bathroom encounter to magically erase his pain. When he discovers the man with the magic hands is his drop-dead-sexy yoga teacher, Ryan decides that there might just be something to this metaphysical thing, after all.
Yogi Niklas Baumgartner has found it remarkably easy to keep his shiny vow of chastity untarnished—until now. Still, a bathroom hand job doesn’t really count as sex, right? But his footing on the no-nooky wagon slips when he realizes the big, blond bear at the back of the class is his man in the dark.
Their unlikely attraction brings out sides of themselves they never knew lurked beneath the surface, sides it takes courage to accept. But when trust is broken, repairing the damage might just tear them apart.
Warning: Contains a gentle giant, a dominant orgo-bunny, a pair of weighty manacles, too many movie references, accidental porn, overcoming stereotypes, and deliciously kinky sex.

My Yogi and the Bear Review ...
Ryan Powell is one big teddy bear. He's one of those big burly guys with a soft heart and an ex Mormon. A construction work who is off due to an injury but dying to get back to work that he will even try yoga and massage.
Nik looks like a typical hippy yogi with the lean body and long hair according to Ryan's imagination. He can be known as Julian or Nik. Nik's a bit tormented with what he wants, what he thinks he deserves and what he needs.
After a chance meeting and the end of his vows, he's now left really confused. Poor Nik is hiding from his life and himself. Meeting Ryan is changing everything. The more he gets to know Ryan the more he needs him but trust is hard for Nik. Ryan trusts easily especially with Nik and especially Julian.
Nik needs out of his living scenario so he moves in with Ryan. At first its easy but then their true needs come in to equation.
Ryan couldn't stop thinking about it. And now he had more to contend with. A baby who would also be his niece or nephew. A virginal boyfriend who would also be his Dom. And a job that maybe he'd be healthy enough to get back to by the end of the month.
What Ryan needs is to submit and Nik who personifies Julian when he needs to dominate. I have to admit the BDSM split personality storyline was a bit weird. Which made it hard to follow at times. Nik needs to come to terms with all his sides which makes him lash out and hurt someone who trusted him the most. Now they have to find their way back to each other while Nik comes to term with that he is really only one person.
After being with Nik, Ryan realizes he needs so much more than yoga and massages to feel better even though they do help a lot. Ryan and Nik seem like the most unlikely pair but they seem to work for each other.
"Oh. My. God. How can you not love the fuck out of syrup and bacon?" "I love the fuck out of you, so I'm good."
This book had weird elements, kinky elements, funny elements, sweet elements which made it good but different. I liked it, it was good but didn't completely love it.
3 The odd couple thumbs up!
