Part 3 of an ongoing series

My Taking the Leap Review . . .

Let's start with my love for Kristen Ashley.  Since picking up her first book I have fallen in love with her words and characters.  And never does she disappoint me with her stories.  I absolutely adore this River Rain series.  I love how KA uses social media to engage with this series which makes you feel part of the whole experience in a different way.

I have to admit that I was thinking that maybe we would get Sasha's story after the end of After the Climb but then with Chasing Serenity I get why Alex and Rix were up next.

I adored Alex's character and her fumbling ways when she is around Rix.  I also love that she is super independent and nature loving.

I thought Rix was done well and how he was facing his challenges.  I adored his family but I especially loved how Alex got through with him and was able to just simply ask Rix how he was feeling and got everyone else in his life to be able to not walk on eggshells around him.

Alex's sister is a nightmare but thankfully she is getting married so Chloe can start up her scheming ways to get Alex and Rix together.

I liked seeing Alex's backstory and her family.  Thankfully her dad ended up growing on me in the end.  But Rix and Alex were perfect together.

This series has so many ways to go with all the characters.  We still have to find Tom's HEA as well as find out the mystery of Sasha and what is plaguing her and her HEA.  As well as Duncan's boys, and Matt. But I have to admit after meeting Dani in Taking the Leap I hope she gets together with maybe Hale or one of the other boys.  Or maybe Judge's sister can get together with one of the boys.

I could read this series over and over again.

It was sweet and engaging and I adored it from start to finish.

4 Sweet Thumbs up!
