My Review...

So far everything that I have read from Leigh Talbot Moore has been awesome so I was excited for the opportunity to read this book.  It had an interesting synopsis and I didn't know what to expect from it.

It is set in a small town with big world of secrets.

For the first time Anna is alone and friendless until... she meets the twins Jack and Lucy. She is instantly drawn to them, especially Jack.

Finally she gets Jack's attention but...things aren't always what we assume. Every time she thinks she is getting closer he pushes her farther away.

At the same time she has gotten the attention of Julian whom she just thought was just her friend until he let her know his attentions.

She is drawn to both but doesn't know who to chose. Every time she thinks she is closer to a decision she is drawn back to the other.

While her own little love triangle is going on Anna is also discovering the world of secrets that have the potential to hurt many people in this small town.

In the end we are left with no concrete choices between the two while she is drawn deeper into the dark secrets.  Thank goodness book two Undertow is coming out July 18/13.

My Review...

First off I thought this book was a little gem in the rough.  I didn't know what to expect but I adored it. I loved the fact that is was done from Drew's POV at the same time it was like he was talking to the reader.  By doing this I felt more drawn into the story and love all the nuances of what was going on.
First off this book had me

The whole bloody time

Now Drew is the perpetual bachelor.

Who thinks he is God's gift to the opposite sex.

Obviously, she doesn't subscribe to the "I can only eat salads in front of the opposite sex rule" rule of thumb a lot of chicks swear by. Who gave women that idea? Like a guy's going to say to his friend, "Dude, she was one fugly chick, but once I saw her chomping on romaine, I just had to nail her."

Who is finally brought to his knees when he finds his match. A match in every way.

The banter between the two is hilarious. Especially when the are fighting for the same campaign.
Their sexual tension can be cut with a knife.

Drew has never had to work for anything before but now he knows what he wants and his not going to give up until he gets it.  

I think Drew's niece Mackenzie may have stolen part of the show with her swear jar and wise ways. Plus it showed Drew's softer side (well as soft as Drew can be)

 "Johnny Fitzgerald has a penis. He say his penis is better than my bagina."  "Johnny Fitzgerald's an idiot. Vaginas beat penises every time. They're like kryptonite. Penises are defenseless against them."

This book was great! It had fun, laughter, loads of laughter, hope, friendship, second chances, family, sex, passion and love

My Review...

This book is a continuation from Hiding Out.  It starts off basically where Hiding Out left off.  After Adam nearly dies he starts to realize that his life is pretty empty. He doesn't realize who he needs until it hits him the head. 

Cammie is a driven woman with goals and ambitions but she is also bitter.  Bitter against love and especially Adam but they both need something from one another so they make a deal to help each other out. This deal will either flourish or fail.

Together they bring out the worst in each other as well as the best. The both have different intentions on how they see their relationship. Cammie thinks it is just physical while Adam wants more.  Whose idea of love will win in the end? 

Fate and love are funny things. They have their own agenda no matter what we want. Well at least this is the case with Cammie and Adam.

This was a sweet story about two wrongs making a right, hope, second chances and love

My Review...

When I read this I was looking for something light and this totally fit the bill.  It was a friends to lovers story which is one of my favorite themes.

Amanda and Jake were best friends then one day the line was crossed.

After this they went there separate ways. Jake became a player where Amanda became focused on her career instead of love but fate had different plans.  Then once again Jake and Amanda meet up but can they become more.

Because they had history together being together their relationship escalated quickly.  Outside influences tried to keep them apart but sometimes love is enough.  Or is it????

Sweet story about passion, drive, friendship, second chances, hope and love.
