Jericho didn't start on the right of the law. He was once a boy on the wrong side of the law and now he has to find the balance between right and wrong.
Jericho's homecoming is nothing but eventful and now the kids are kidnapped and the only person Jericho can turn to is Wade. But can he trust him?

All the main characters: Nikki, Wade, Kayla, Jericho, Elijah, and Nicolette the feds are great and this series has a great balance of humor and suspense.
"Hi, Nikki. How do you plan to complicate my life today?"
I'm so hooked on this series It was so hard to wait between the releases as I couldn't wait to see if Wade and Jericho could find their balance between right and wrong.
Wade has a knack at showing up at the right times but is it coincidence or is Jericho missing something big?

I absolutely love Wade and his shifty ways. And I love all the ways that are Jericho and Wade."We've been working on the bastard for the better part of the year. One man against the DEA and FBI, but the slippery bastard hasn't given us enough for a jaywalking ticket, let alone a federal conviction. There's been nothing easy about it."

As Jericho finds himself still back at home. He also continues to try and do the right thing by working for Kay and the sheriff department, but its hard when his heart is with Wade and all that comes with him.
"That'll be Kay's problem. If she wants to fire me, she can. But I've already told her-or at least I started to-if it comes down to choosing between you and my job, I choose you."
"Yeah?" Wade's smile was a little softer this time, a little more real. "Damn, Junior, you can be a real sweet-talker when you try to be."
Jericho is having a hard time with right and wrong but he does know the difference between winning and losing. And for him Wade is a win. Now they just have to survive.
"Is there some part of you being a cop and me being a robber that you don't understand, Jay?"
As the all the illegal activities come to a head now Wade is having a hard time with right and wrong because he knows he wants Jericho and nothing else matters.
"If you're still alive after all this, you are absolutely quitting your fucking job." Then he nudged the gear bag with his foot. "There's some shit in there that might help keep us alive. At least long enough for me to kick your ass."
Not only did I love all that was Jericho and Wade I loved his relationship with the kids as well.
"Jericho can watch the kids so you and me can talk outside."
"Jericho can't handle your kids when he's at full strength."
Loved how Nikki and the kids are Jericho's nemesis but he still tries anyways. Because in the end Jericho is all heart. I absolutely LOVED this series. I didn't rate them as individual books because they're meant as a whole and as a whole I loved them. Sure some were better than others sure but that doesn't matter when you think about the big picture.
