Book Boyfriend Monday - Brian Wright

This week's Book Boyfriend is going to Brian Wright from The Next Door Boys Series by Jolene Perry

From the moment you first meet Brian you Love him. Here is some reasons why

1) His love is so unconditional and embracing
2) He is the best father ever
3) His commitment to Leigh is awe-inspiring

Here are some examples of why Brian brings a smile to my heart

"...That Leigh, she can be pretty amazing."  "Yeah, she is," Brian agreed. - The Next Door Boys

He shook his head.  "Please don't apologize.  Maybe I shouldn't have woken you. I just feel bad that you're stuck with him." "I can't think of anywhere in the world I'd rather be stuck," I said honestly. Brian reached out and used his hand to brush hair from my face. He opened his mouth to say something but decided against it. - The Next Door Boys

"Leigh, that's craziness. Whoever you choose to be with will feel like the luckiest man in the world, not a guy who had to give up something to be with you."  Brian - The Next Door Boys

"I like you, Leigh." He smiled sideways at me. "I like you too, Brian," I teased. "No, I mean...what do I mean..." He laughed at himself quitely. "I just...I'm..I think you're the most remarkable woman I've ever met. You're smart and funny, and you make me feel like I'm something of the person I want to be." He paused again. - The Next Door Boys

"I promise you Leigh. I will love you forever, no matter what." - Left to Love

He shook his head. "Please don't say that Leigh." He took my face in his hands gently. "I love you like... like I never thought I'd love anyone." - Left to Love

"I love you Leigh, the real thing, more than I thought possible and I will love you forever. If there's one thing that I've learned in this short time with you, it's that love really does grow deeper - Left to Love

Brian looks at Leigh all the time. He looks at her like there's nowhere else he'd rather be. It's easy to see how much they love one another. - My Forever

Brian watches her walk away. "I would do anything for that woman." - My Forever

Left to Love (Next Door Boys #2)

She married the father of a little boy she fell in love with. They live in a nice house, on a quiet street, and her hobby of a sewing business is keeping her busier than she ever imagined. She’s back in touch with her brother who she hasn’t seen since she was a child, and her new husband has an “in” for his dream job when he graduates in the spring.

But when her small symptoms begin to lead up to something big - she has to face the shattering realization that her cancer is back.

Leigh struggles with her new marriage, her faith, her desire to adopt the little boy who calls her mom, and the strength to keep fighting for her life

My Forever (Next Door Boys #3)

Dani is mortified that she’ll finish her senior year of high school as the pregnant girl, and has no idea how to tell her father, who is also the pastor of her church.

When her friend, Michael, sits down next to her in the hallway at school, it leads her inside the doors of the Mormon church, a group she’s been warned against for years. Dani begins to listen to the small voice in her heart even as her world crumples around her.

Her old friends aren’t around anymore. And when her father discovers not only her pregnancy, but her involvement in the LDS faith, he asks her to leave his house.

Dani’s life is turned upside down as she moves states, tries to find parents for her unborn baby, and says goodbye to her friend, Michael, as he leaves for two years to serve a mission.

My Forever is a novel about the struggle to find the balance between what your head screams for you to do and the power of following the quieter voice inside your heart - wishing for a time when they both say the same thing.

  1. YAY!! You've seriously made my morning. SO glad you liked. I didn't even write My Forever thinking Brian and Leigh would be a part of it, but I loved looking at them through someone else's eyes. Loads of fun :-D
