Part 2 of a spin off series
My Logan Review . . .
I LOVE this series and also the More Than series. When I read Lucas it felt like a true spin off which could be a standalone on its on. However with Logan I felt you needed to have read the More Than Series to truly appreciate everything that is happening within this story. And what a story it was.
Since meeting Logan, he's always come across as the boy who just doesn't care and and carefree with his partying. But we find out the reason he hides behind his attitude and drugs.
Logan is smoking his way through life and living each day. He's dating, he's partying, he's working, he's hanging out but he's not truly living. Logan has a new nemesis and it comes in the form of this pseudo girlfriends, best friend Aubrey. Aubrey and Logan are like oil and water. But we all know love and hate go together. Logan quickly realizes his new girl isn't for him and finds himself taking comfort in the oddest person . . . Aubrey.
Aubrey and Logan are an unlikely duo but fit perfectly together.
"You're such a little whore, Logan Preston. But you're my little whore now."I LOVE these Preston punks! They are great. Especially Lachlan, I love watching that kid grow up. You know he's going to have tons of heart. In Logan, we also get more Lucy and I forgot how much I love her unfiltered mind.
For Logan, he has so many secrets and keeps it all buried inside. He's only escape is drugs but its not working like it used to.
"One day . . ." Aubrey whisper. "I'll be your Mary, Logan. I'll be the one to take away your pain."
Logan and Aubrey's journey is not smooth. Its a very bumpy road for these two but so worth it in the end. There is so much pain for poor Logan and what he had to endure and I have to admit I didn't see it all coming. I had an idea but not to the full extent of what poor Logan had to endure. Thankfully there couldn't be anyone more suited for him than Aubrey. Their banter was precious and I love the dynamics of the whole Preston clan and all their add-ons.
I can not WAIT For more from this awesome series!!!! Thank you Jay McLean.
4.5 No need for the bravado anymore thumbs up!
