Part 1 of a new series

My Shift Review . . . 

 

I always adore Ginger Scott and her stories.   I jumped at the chance to read and review this book.  Though this time I have to admit it took me a bit to get into this book.  I'm not sure why.  I'm not sure if it was me and I wasn't in the mood for that story line but forced myself to continue or maybe the story just didn't grab me right away.  

 

Thankfully I am stubborn and I kept on it and then I was HOOKED.   

I am a fan of the falling in love with the best friend's little sister.  And Dustin Bridges and Hannah Judge had quite the journey to find each other.  

I liked Dustin from the beginning but Hannah took me longer to get on board with.  

As the story went on the more and more I got on board with Hannah and Dustin.  I thought they were perfect together even though they were from different sides of the tracks.  Poor Dustin's family was a piece of work and Hannah and racing were his two shining lights in his dark world. 

Though life has a way of not being easy and Dustin and Hannah have a mountain to climb to find their HEA. 

I originally loved the Judges for taking in and loving Dustin but in the end they broke my heart on how they handled things.  Thankfully this is a series so I think all of that will turn around.  Fingers crossed.

By the time I was hooked I was so sad for Shift to be over and now can't wait for Wreck.  There are so many things that are unanswered and time has passed for these two.
