Samira and Mike have been together for quite a long time, but what keeps their relationship strong is Mike's kink. At first Sam wasn't so sure but the more she delved into her husband's kink the more she liked it. Now it's she who wants to step up their kink by bringing in a third.

Bern likes his sex but has always wanted more. For him the idea of someone watching turns his crank. So, when he sees an ad for a couple who wants a bull for their brand of kink, he's instantly intrigued.

He gave it this time, burying himself halfway then slowly drawing back out, back in again. Holy shit, he was fucking somebody's wife. The idea had his cock aching.

At first the three start slow, then as time goes on, they get more daring and adventurous.

For these three it's a very intimate circle, but it works for them, because all their individual kinks are getting met with this relationship. However, the whole game started with Mike but then ends with Mike because he's the one who can't handle it.

Mike nodded once.

Sam heaved a sad breath. "Wish I could separate the two as tidily as you can."

What these three didn't expect were for feelings to develop. They also didn't expect the inner growth that was going to happen to each of them.

"My kink is about sex. Sex isn't sacred to me, apparently. But feelings are."

"You're different, though, Mike. You're so hardwired for loyalty-it's right at the heart of you sexuality."

I have read a few cuckold books and I still don't know enough or how it truly works as my head is not wired that way, but I think Cara did a great job trying to explain and get to the heart of these kinks. I did like this book, but it did take me awhile to fully get into it. As at times it was more sex than story. Don't get me wrong the sex was smoking even though not my personal cup of tea, but I wanted more from Mike and Samira. To me, I fell in love more with Bern than the others. I'm not sure if that was the goal of the book. If it was bang on, if not then it missed its mark with Mike and Samira. Will I read more from this series? Yes. Was it my favorite book of Cara McKenna's? Definitely not. Favorite part? Bern, hands down. Least favorite part? Lack of substance. I was left wanting more from this story.
