Say My Name (Stark International Trilogy #1)
by
J. Kenner (Goodreads Author)
New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner kicks off a smoking hot, emotionally compelling new trilogy that returns to the world of her beloved Stark novels: Release Me, Claim Me, and Complete Me. Say My Name features Jackson Steele, a strong-willed man who goes after what he wants, and Sylvia Brooks, a disciplined woman who’s hard to get—and exactly who Jackson needs.
I never let anyone get too close—but he’s the only man who’s ever made me feel alive.
Meeting Jackson Steele was a shock to my senses. Confident and commanding, he could take charge of any room . . . or any woman. And Jackson wanted me. The mere sight of him took my breath away, and his touch made me break all my rules.
Our bond was immediate, our passion untamed. I wanted to surrender completely to his kiss, but I couldn’t risk his knowing the truth about my past. Yet Jackson carried secrets too, and in our desire we found our escape, pushing our boundaries as far as they could go.
Learning to trust is never easy. In my mind, I knew I should run. But in my heart, I never felt a fire this strong—and it could either save me or scorch me forever.
Say My Name is intended for mature audiences.

My Say My Name Review ...
I loved the Stark Trilogy, so I was
excited to start to read the Stark International series. Here we get a
new couple but thankfully Damien and Nikki are still prominent characters.
In this series we have Jackson Steele and Sylvia Brooks.
Sylvia
Brooks has quite the life and most of it not good. But what she did
have is one great fling that opened her heart but scared her shitless so
she ran. And now she needs him again to help her professionally. Will
she be able to have him near with out her heart getting involved? It
should be easy since it's a business only transaction, or should it?
Jackson
Steele is a successful architect and has everything at his finger tips
but when he let the one person go that he shouldn't have. He stopped
fully living. Now that Sylvia is back and needing him, he forces her
hand with an all or nothing counter offer.
"Oh baby. They can't hurt me. Don't you know that you're the only one who's ever managed to tear me to shreds?"
Jackson
may have started out with wanting revenge but the minute he saw her
again he came back to life so he plays to win. To get what he most wants. But
what are the stakes?
Jackson and Sylvia can't deny
their chemistry and pull to one another. Revenge sex
turns into something quite deep and rather quickly. But for these two
their connection has always been instant. With Sylvia she has some
trust issue which are quite warranted and for her to trust Jackson means
everything. Sadly though Jackson has more secrets then he has fully
enclosed already.
"You're the only real thing in my life," he whispered
Their
chemistry was hot. Jackson is another great dirty talker. The story
was good and I was hooked enough to want to continue with the series.
But even though I quite liked this book it was also a bit forgettable.
When doing this review a few days after I read it, it took awhile for me
to recollect what happened and who the characters were. When this
happens it makes me realize that I wasn't fully immersed as I thought I
was. I still liked it and the series has great potential but I need a
bit more from this couple for me to be completely captured by them.
3 Trusting Thumbs up!
