My Review...
I wanted to like this so much because I love love Loved Jesse in the first book but here are some of my thoughts with this book:
1) Jesse either developed a mangina or lost his balls and became a bit of a pansy
2) Could Jesse really be that clueless about the opposite sex with Jolene .. Reallyyyyyy
3) Rowan became a stronger better version of her self
4) Garth almost stole the show and became the new shining star and I hope that maybe that now that he has helped to settle a score that he will be free and clear for him to find love....Josie maybe :)
5) The dual martyrisms between Jesse and Rowan Ugh!!!! I wanted to bitch slap some sense into those two as this continuing theme was killing me. *whine* - no I love you but I have to protect you...blah blah - I am such a screw up you deserve better...blah blah.
You get my drift. The sad part was Jesse's past to me wasn't even an issue as he didn't do anything wrong he just had a really bad childhood.
The first story was so well done and this one had such huge potential but some parts nearly killed me with a bit of disappointment but in the end I am still a Jesse lover even though he lost his balls and was happy with the ending of how it all played out.
Even though there were some points that didn't work for me I did still like the story. I was glad to see the growth of Rowan and Jesse with the love and support of the Walkers even though they hit some bumps in the road they found what is worth it and fought for it.
