to the stars. The favorite aunt. Dance teacher. Baby sister. Talented musician
and song-writer.
Single.
Why did that word rank above the rest? Helen loved her family and understood they wanted her to have the real love they’d all found. It’s just that she’d found her someone special and learned to live without him. She’d been too young for the quirky, idealistic doctor-off to save the world-to notice. And, really, if she had it her way, he’d never know how she’d felt. Now, he was one of her best friends, a pen pal, losing him would be too much.
Seeing him at their parents wedding, Helen realizes the horrible truth: she still loves Joseph… which wouldn’t be so bad if she wasn’t in the situation she was in.
But she was. And her secret will change everything.
Will it destroy hope for a Hollywood happy ending too?

Author’s Bio & Picture:
Sasha is part gypsy. Born
June 9, 1974, stories have always played an important role in her life. Her
passions have always been storytelling, Hollywood, history, and travel. It’s no
surprise that her books include a little of each. Her first play,
‘Greek Gods and Goddesses’ was written for her Girl Scout troupe. She’s been
writing ever since. She loves getting lost in the worlds and characters she
creates; even if she frequently forgets to run the dishwasher or wash socks
when she’s doing so. Luckily, her four brilliant children and hero-inspiring
hubby are super understanding and supportive.

My Review...
I am a fan of this series so I jumped on board to be part of this tour to review this book.
Helen has been a shining star throughout the series.
I have to admit that I had to re-skim throughout the last two books to remind myself about Joseph. For the life of me remembering Joseph left me blank. After skimming I was pleasantly surprised with the possibilities of Joe.
Right away you feel the connection between Helen and Joseph.
Not to deny themselves of happiness they act on their connection which catapults their relationship to the next level until poor choices puts a kink into their potential happiness.
But for Joe the sweetheart that he is, he fights for what he wants no matter what.
"... Because I want all of you, and whatever baggage or complications you think you're burdening me with."
For Helen the pure sweetie that she is, doesn't want to burden anyone with her bad choices and tries to push away for everyone else's happiness instead of herself.
After talking and opening up Helen and Joe find out about one another. (I loved Joe's back story but I felt it was brought up quickly and skirted around. If this was built up a bit more when tragedy arises it could have given it that extra oomph of emotions)
After everything is out in the open they decide loving each other is worth the risk.
But reality is a bitch and sends Joseph away. Waiting for his return the unthinkable happens and my heart was breaking for all the possibilities of what if.
Thankfully Joseph had good karma and gives our sweet Helen her HEA.
This is such a sweet series with loads of friendship, family, loyalty, drama and love.
4 Sweet Thumbs up!
Lauren
