So many emotions I went through with this book.
1) The book is here! Yeah!
2) Then I started to read it and watched Emma's emotional downward spiral.
3) Watching Emma how she processes things and the terrible decisions she made. Argh! I wanted to shake some sense into her. Don't get me wrong I don't blame her fucked up perspective and processing from the shit life she had with shitty role models and all the loss but come on...
"You've worn guilt like an iron mask, welded to you, because you're convinced that you're to blame for what happens to everyone else. You martyr yourself for things you're not responsible for. And you end up hurting the people you care about believing you're protecting them." - Evan
4) Then there was a ray of hope.....
5) Then there were more struggles because they both had a lot to go through to come out unscathed.
6) Then finally....sigh
Now we have to say good-bye to one of my favorite series.
I tried not to say too much but let you in a little because the breathe series is just something you have to experience (Even if it is just to meet, love and adore Evan!)
5 Emotional thumbs up!
