Best Kind of Broken (Finding Fate #1)

by
New Adult Romance

Pixie and Levi haven't spoken in nearly a year when they find themselves working―and living―at the same inn in the middle of nowhere. Once upon a time, they were childhood friends. But that was before everything went to hell. And now things are... awkward.

All they want to do is avoid each other, and their past, for as long as possible. But now that they're forced to share a bathroom, and therefore a shower, keeping their distance from one another becomes less difficult than keeping their hands off each other. Welcome to the hallway of awkward tension and sexual frustration, folks. Get comfy. It’s going to be a long summer.

My Review...

Well, two broken souls my kind of NA story.

Pixie and Levi are broken but they need each other.  From the very beginning you want to know what broke them and you are sucked in to the story just waiting to find out why.  While we are waiting we get to feel the pain, heartache, need, tension and hope between the two.

As they start to heal in their own ways by themselves you get to see more of their heartbreaking pain then finally we get to see what happened and your heart breaks even more for this duo.  Loss, guilt and pain are nasty bitches on a good day and everyone deals with them differently for Pixie and Levi what they struggle with is that they need each other to truly heal.

As we continue with the story at 85 % I was like 'finally' then the rug was stolen beneath my feet and I had to heave along until FINALLY I had peace in my heart at 92%.

This looks like a great start to a series that I will definitely be continuing to read.  Chelsea Fine has a knack for the broken friends to lovers story and she nailed it again with Pixie and Levi.
