My Review... 

When reading the works of Alessandra Torre I find there some similarities to her books which I love because you always know what you are going to get from her which is....love story with a darker edge but not crossing the line.  Her stories push the boundaries of society norms where we can cut through the crap and find beauty and love in the least expected places. 

Here we have Candace 'Candy' who is down on her luck and is desperate so she resorts to being a stripper with some 'perks'.   There is one client who makes it worth all the turmoil. Mr. Blue Eyes sparks something in her as well as helps her financially with his generous ways.  

Candy has hit rock bottom and is beyond desperate when Mr. Blue eyes reappears dangling an enticing carrot that she can't say no to for the sake of her ailing father. 

What she doesn't expect is to feel so helpless, alone and also finds her self falling in love.  She makes decisions that are not always the right ones but they are right for her at the time. 

Nathan needs this plan to work to get back his heart and his legacy.  A legacy taken from the one person who also stole his heart.  What he didn't expect was to find a different level of his heart. 

Once he gets everything he has ever wanted he starts to question why he wanted it in the first place.

This was such a fantastic book.  It can be read as 4 novellas or one complete book.  Here we get to see two people who are both desperate and lonely and fill a void that neither of them knew needed filling.  It was an agreement made out of necessity but ended up so much more.  This journey was not a clean cut love story it had moments of edginess but worth it in the end .
