My Hunger (Inside Out #3.2)

by

An Inside Out Novella in Mark's POV

While Chris and Sara have traveled to Paris to avoid the chaos of press and police after the tragic night we’d shared, I have stayed to face the reality of what has happened. But there is no peace to be found in facing the truth, and no truth to be found in the confessions that have been made and retracted. I am a Master, all about control, and yet right now, facing great tragedy, I feel as if I have none. With my club and my relationships of the past in the spotlight, I find sanctuary in the one place I’ve promised I will never be again, but cannot seem to resist. Her arms.

***Mark and Crystal's story begins in the novella Master Undone.

My My Hunger Review ...

I have to admit I wasn't sure where this story was going to go after Ava confesses but Holy Shit Lisa Renee Jones knows how to keep all the twists and turns going that you are biting your nails in anticipation waiting to find out how all of this is going to end.

To get the full effect of Mark it is recommended to read the full series because Mark is a complex guy and we are just skimming the surface of all that is Mark.  For one he has loads of secrets and his emotions are layered deep and buried, but I have a sneaky feeling that Crystal may be the key to uncover these layers.  For now The Master is losing control of himself and everything around him.

For Mark to avoid certain emotions he uses distraction namely sex and control.  Without that combo he is out of his element but something about Crystal throws him and yet he still can't let her go.  But Mark is not the only one with a past and secrets so there is still loads of drama to come out with these two.

The series has so much dimension, suspense, steam, hope, angst and love.  I effin' love it!  I was hooked from the first book and I can't wait to find out how Mark and Crystal fair as well as Chris and Sara.
