Slow No Wake - Review

After finding her sister in bed with her fiancĂ©, 25-year old Lexie Wilkins decides to relocate to southwest Florida to start a new life and escape relationships all together. What she doesn’t expect to find are two attractive kite surfers, who both want her.

So much for Lexie’s vow for her fresh start in Florida: a no wake zone. Having two guys in her life is sure to make waves.

Eddie is the captivating bad boy, who lives next door. Daniel is Lexie’s sweet and ruggedly handsome co-worker. The differences between the two men are just as extreme as their sport…

My Review...

Hmmmm so there were pros and cons I found when I read this book.  It had cute moments

The things that I did like
  1. The concept or the idea of the story
  2. The twins were a good addition
  3. Daniel and Lexie had some good moments
  4. Quick and easy read and not too heavy

Things that I didn't care for
  1. The story was predictible
  2. Didn't feel Lexie's love for Daniel since she was still was flirting with the idea of another
  3. The love of Daniel, Eddie and Lexie escalated way too quickly which it made it hard to believe on all counts
  4. I found Daniel a bit of a weaker male lead ( I wish he still had Daniel's good qualities with Eddie's spunk, strength and confidence)
I had the chance to review this book and Matchplay from Dakota Madison and out of the two I preferred Matchplay but they were both light quick reads to fill the time

2 Thumbs up!
thumbs upthumbs up
