Unbeautifully (Undeniable #2) - Review

Unbeautifully (Undeniable #2)

by
Warning: This is not a story about fate or destiny. This is a story about pain, sorrow, and suffering. This is an impulsive whirlwind romance between two lovers that are not meant to be together. Theirs is not a world with sunshine and roses. Instead, their love blossoms in a secret world full of crime, violence, and death. Their story is about what can be born from nightmares.

Danielle “Danny” West is the daughter of Deuce West, President of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club. A sweet and beautiful girl, she loses her way, searching for things that are always out of her reach. Erik “Ripper” Jacobs is the Sergeant of Arms in the Hell’s Horsemen. Once a man who always had a smile on his face, his life takes a turn for the worst when a tragedy befalls him, leaving him scarred and broken. During a midsummer night, Danny and Ripper’s paths cross, forever changing their lives. Hastily, their lust turns to love until another tragedy forces them apart. On a journey that is marred with ugliness and chaos, Danny and Ripper must discover if their unforeseen connection can find the beauty in their world.

This is Danny and Ripper’s story.

Everything has beauty. Even the ugly. Especially the ugly.
Because without ugly, there would be no beauty.

Synopsis from Goodreads

My Review...

Let's start with ....Motherf@cking WOW!

Madeline Sheehan has done it again made something so f@cking beautiful out of a world that is dark and ugly.

This book is an unconventional love story.  Erik "Ripper" Jacobs who was once aesthetically beautiful but after a terrible incident gone bad by the neighborhood friendly psychopath he became scarred on the inside and out.

Then by chance on one night that changes everything he hooks up with Danielle "Danny" West who happens to be the daughter of the biggest MC Mofo around.  For Danny ever since her Dad's and Eva's world came crashing down it left her alone and unloved. Well, Until....Ripper.

This relationship was doomed from the start being Deuce's daughter.

Even though it was doomed there was something beautiful about them.  Danny had a heart of gold who could see the beauty of Ripper where most people couldn't including Ripper himself.

"Baby," he said gruffly. "Man like me got no business with a girl like you. You're nothing but f@ckin' beauty and I'm a whole lot of f@ckin' ugly who's already halfway to hell."- Ripper

Things start to go south when Ripper makes the worst mistake possible and let's Danny go.

During this time you start to realize that this book is so much more than Ripper's and Danny's love story but also the ugly truth of Deuce and Eva's blackness and all the other crazy going around in a world of violence, death, lust and brotherhood.

Once the shit hits the fan.  Deuce is forced to accept the reality of what is with his club, his woman and his family. While Ripper is faced with a reality that he could not live without.

"Darlin', we live in a f@ckin' cesspool of shit and dirty-ass motherf@ckers, but if you found somethin' good and true, something' that you can bank on bein' there for you when everything else is fallin' apart around you, whoever it is, I'm good with it." - Deuce

"I've never been his," I whispered. "Ripper, I've always been yours."- Danny

"All scars tell a story, beautiful girl," he said ... "And mine," he said softly, grabbing my hand, trailing my palm across his cheek and then his chest. "Tell the story of how I found you." - Ripper

Love is a feeling, a real, raw and unscripted emotion so sensationally pure, unable to dull even under the strain of a world against it, strong enough to heal the broken and warm even the coldest of hearts.
Innate.  Unavoidable.  Undeniable. - (from prologue)

I loved this story so much.  I love seeing the ugliness and darkness turn into something light and beautiful.  Danny and Ripper held my heart and soul through the whole journey.  As well as Eva and Deuce from Undeniable throughout this book as well and I can NOT wait to find out more of the Horseman with Cage and Tegen.

5 Beautifully Scarred Thumbs up!
