My Review....

NOOOOO the ending nearly killed me. There are so many loose ends.  This book was great and I was so lucky to be given the opportunity to be able to read both Breaking Waves and Heart Waves.

The first book set up all the characters and emotions for this book so as soon as you started to read it you don't want to put it down. You try to figure out what is going on while processing what is real and what is not.

You get so mad at Reece's choice and are left with so many open questions.  I was quite surprised with Tyler and his feelings.  I see why Jenna makes the decisions she does because she was left gutted and reeling but you want to shake her because Reece left her lots of clues that she was just too devastated to see clearly.

Tyler is for sure hiding something but yet he grows on you that you start to maybe route for Tyler but until the truth comes out I am totally Team Reece.

The book has a Romeo and Juliet theme and you hope that the book does not have the same end as that tragedy did.  I just hope that Jenna can open up her eyes and her heart and realize that things change even though she originally saw the future doesn't mean that it is 100% correct or that she interpreted what she saw or felt correctly.

The book is left open for I assuming another book if not than that ending was just cruel.

So far both books have been fantastic and I am totally hooked for more.

More About the Author:

Danielle Sibarium grew up as an only child of divorced parents in Brooklyn, New York. Her imagination was developed at an early age. Surrounded by stuffed animals and imaginary friends, she transported herself into a fantasy world full of magic and wonder. Books were the gateway between her play world and reality. On any given summer afternoon she became Snow White sweeping and cooking for the dwarfs, or Cinderella waiting for the prince.

Danielle always loved dialogue and in elementary school began writing plays and short stories. This is when she began to understand she could not only bring her fantastical world to life for herself, but she could enchant others as well. And so she wrote. She wrote and wrote and wrote.

Sadly the first piece she ever sent out for publication of any sort was a letter to the editor of The Home News Tribune. It was a piece thanking the first responders for their bravery and selflessness on Sept 11th. It was chosen as letter of the week.

In 2007 Danielle collaborated with Charlotte Doreen Small to write songs for her CD More. Danielle wrote the lyrics for Take My Hand, and Goodbye, while Charlotte contributed the melody.
In October 2011 Danielle’s debut novel For Always was released. She has since released Heart Waves and the second book in the Heart Waves series, Breaking Waves
Danielle graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with honors, and currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and three children.

My Review...

Source: eARC

This book was great.  Right from the beginning you are set up with knowing that there is going to be a heart aching situation. The whole book gears you toward this without making it obvious to what is going on.

Reece's love is pure and a bit magical.  You love Jenna and Reece together. Even though they connect super quickly it still feels right.  Jenna is way too much in her head but that is what makes Jenna - Jenna so sometimes you are frustrated because you just want them to be together so everything is a HEA but Nope not going to happen because the whole way through you know the other shoe is going to drop.

At the end you think that is the worst that is going to happen and can finally take a breath of relief well until.....you read the next book.

This book I felt was a good book about setting up foundations, relationships and the depth of Jenna's & Reece's love for the series.
