Book two of Wicked PlayWhen Kendra Morgan attends a party at an exclusive sex club, she's not driven by mere curiosity. Hoping to prove she's put the past behind her, Kendra must instead face up to needs she's denied for too long. Despite her lingering fears, she can't resist the temptation to play…
Deklan Winters has had his eye on his attractive neighbor for months, but only senses Kendra is no stranger to the BDSM scene when she walks into his club. And he can tell that's not her only secret. What surprises him is his own overwhelming desire to give her what she craves—and to show her a side to the Dom/sub relationship she's never known.
With Deklan's guidance, Kendra begins to accept her forbidden needs and to recognize the fine line between pleasure and pain. But when her former Master returns to reclaim her, it will take all her courage—and all of Deklan's love—to defy her past.

My Review...
I was ecstatic to see this book for review since I loved the first book in the series Bonds of Trust. In this book we get to see what Kendra and Declan have been hiding. And only together can they heal each other if they finally open up and learn to trust again.
This book is written where there is an honesty and vulnerabililty that comes out in the characters that you feel what they are feeling.
"That's where you've got it wrong, " he insisted. "There is no pleasure in being beaten. That's an act of violence. And I would never be violent towards you. No real Dom would. The pleasure comes in submitting and trusting. In finding release in the freedom you get from letting go. The pain only heightens the feelings, releases the endorphins and reaffirms the trust you've given away." loc 1848
In this book it is not just about the sex and BDSM it is about the journey of knowing who you are and what you need. I have not personally dabbled in this world but this book made me think if I was curious this series would be a good start to dive into the psyche and exploration of this world.
I loved Kendra and Declan together and I loved seeing the evolution of their love story. I also loved seeing Cass and Jake again.
Great story and I can't wait to see what happens with Seth and maybe Allie.
4.5 Thumbs up!
