Raid (Unfinished Hero #3)

Adult
Source: Kindle

by
Hanna Boudreaux has lived in the small town of Willow, Colorado all her life. The great-granddaughter of the town matriarch, she's sweet, cute and quiet.

Too quiet.

Hanna has a moment of epiphany when she realizes her crush for forever, Raiden Ulysses Miller, is not ever going to be hers. She sees her life as narrow and decides to do something about it.

Raiden Miller is the town of Willow's local hero. An ex-marine with the medal to prove his hero status, he comes home, shrouded in mystery. It takes a while but, eventually, Hanna catches his eye.

But after all these years of Raid and Hanna living in the same town, the question is, why? Is Raid interested in Hanna because she's sweet and cute? Or does Raid have something else going on?

This has some BDSM

My Review...

It is NO secret that I am a huge fan of Kristen Ashley and that I have loved every book that she has written and this one was another great book.

With Raid he is a bit different than Kristen Ashley's other leading men.  He is still dominant and an Alpha but there is something pure and sweet to Raid as well. He was a bit softer as well as Hanna she too was not a strong as the usual kick ass heroine but I still loved them both. However with Raid's soft side he also was dominant in nature when it comes to his woman.

As always I loved Hanna and Raid but in this book but I think Hanna's gram might have stolen the show a bit. She was priceless, strong, loving and always right and since she was as old as dirt she was also very wise.

"Lost love, precious," Gram replied, turning her head to look out the side window. "Stings like a wasp bite that never fades." loc 2547

Even though I found Hanna and Raid a bit softer than the usual suspects I still loved this book and got lost in the story and lost my heart to Raid.
