My Review... 

Gah! This book was great it was about a broken boy and a girl who didn't want to fix him, she only wanted to love him. 
 
Oh Boy! Here we have one VERY broken tattooed bad boy.  When we first meet Jared I first don't know if there is any hope for him because of the level of brokenness that is going on for him.  After a tragedy that changes everything Jared takes all the blame and lives in a world of dark and hate.

Aleena (Aly) enjoys her life but keeps relationships at bay holding out for one true love that has captured her heart when she was young.  After a terrible event she loses almost everything and has never fully recovered. 

By chance Christopher runs into his best friend Jared and brings him home to stay with him and his sister Aly.  This little twist of fate alters all paths involved.

Before the frightful night that changes everything Jared and Aly had a bond that was thought to be unbreakable. Even though Jared and Christopher were best friends, Christopher always felt on the outskirts of their bond.  After Jared left, Christopher and Aly create a new bond and become tighter than ever as brother and sister. 

Once Jared sees Aly again he begins to breathe and live again but is scared because he believes that he does not deserve any sort of happiness or light after what he has done. 

But Aly's light shines too bright to be ignored and he gives in.  

The growth of Aly and Jared and painstakingly beautiful.  Throughout the whole book I was on pins and needles to find out what this great tragedy is that broke poor beautiful Jared. Once you find out their secrets your heart goes to the pain and suffering of these two. 

While Jared battles his demons he starts to realize one constant which is Aly in the form of hope and love. With this realization he finally believes life is worth fighting for.

I'm such a huge fan of A.L. Jackson and have been for a long time.  This book only cemented my love in her writing which is AWESOME. It hooks you in to the true depth of the emotions that the characters are dealing with.
