Author Bio:
Genna Rulon is an up-and-coming contemporary romance author who loves nothing more than a good love story.

During her 15 years in the corporate world, Genna, inspired by her love of reading, fantasized about penning her own stories.  Encouraged by her favorite authors, many of whom are indie writers and self-published, she committed to pursue her aspirations of writing her own novels.

Genna was raised on Long Island in New York, where she still resides, surrounded by the most amazing family and friends.  Married to a wonderful man who patiently tolerates her ramblings about whichever book she is currently working on, even feigning interest relatively convincingly!  Genna is blessed with two little boys who do their best to thwart mommy's writing time with their hilarious antics and charming extrapolations.

All of Genna’s reviews are brought to you courtesy of copious amounts of coffee and Disney Junior (something has to entertain the boys when mommy is writing).

My Review...

I couldn't wait to find out how Sam dealt with her devastating trauma.  I was hooked in right from the prologue.  A girlfriend once told me the difference between a survivor and a victim and in the book Sam embodies what a survivor truly is.

Oh Boy! Griffin I KNEW I was going to fall for him since he was already a sweetheart in Only For You and he so did NOT disappoint.

This book starts while Sam is recovering from that horrible night and the after effects.  Once she gets home she has the unconditional support of Ev and Hunter with the new addition of Griffin.

The things that helped Sam survive this was:
Griffin *swoon*
Thia (her kickass therapist)

The things that made it hard were:
Douchebag ex-boyfriends
The world's shittiest parents
Pressuring lawyers

This book was beautiful and well done. I felt like I was going through Sam's healing with her at the same time I was falling in love with Griffin right beside her.  (And for that he will be making an appearance soon on my Book Boyfriend Mondays)

This book had a great combination of grief, hope, second chances, drama, angst, friendship, steam and hard core love. I am such a big fan of this series and Genna Rulon and I can NOT wait to find out Meg's secrets.

5 Griffin Loving Thumbs up!
