My Review...
Here we have Rubi who happens to be Lexi's best friend and Wes who is best friends with Jax as well as works with him. Because of their friendship with Lexi and Jax it throws Wes and Rubi to hang out and by default become friends together.
Wes is the good ol' southern country boy who believes in relationships not one night stands.
Rubi is the girl with daddy and abandonment issues causing her not to be able to commit and only have nameless one night stands.
The trouble with both of them is that they want each other but have different views on what they need. They both don't want to ruin their friendship but Wes convinces Rubi to give friend's with benefits a try even though he is risking his heart.
Once Rubi gives in the sex is more than worth it but having so many emotions and not knowing how to deal with them is causing her issues, but when Wes has to head home and needs Rubi it causes all kinds of troubles.
After making the trip and making herself vulnerable Rubi is thrown into unfamiliar dynamics which brings her issues to the surface while Wes is a but clueless but what they both don't know is that they are more similar then they think with their rebellious ways just their reasoning is different.
With this new venture Wes and Rubi learn so much about each other and relationships. They both conquer their fears and take a risk on love.
I adore this series. The banter is great, the sex is steamy, the guys at renegade are gorgeous and the story lines are fun with a good mix of passion, chemistry, angst and love.
