Devil's Game (Reapers MC #3) by Joanna Wylde - #review
Devil's Game (Reapers MC #3)

Liam “Hunter” Blake hates the Reapers MC. Born and raised a Devil’s Jack, he knows his duty. He’ll defend his club from their oldest enemies—the Reapers—using whatever weapons he can find. But why use force when the Reapers’ president has a daughter who’s alone and vulnerable? Hunter has wanted her from the minute he saw her, and now he has an excuse to take her.

Em has lived her entire life in the shadow of the Reapers. Her overprotective father, Picnic, is the club’s president. The last time she had a boyfriend, Picnic shot him. Now the men in her life are far more interested in keeping her daddy happy than showing her a good time. Then she meets a handsome stranger—a man who isn't afraid to treat her like a real woman. One who isn't afraid of her father. His name is Liam, and he’s The One.

Or so she thinks.

My Devil's Game Review ...

Let's start with I love this series!!!

In the last book we met Liam ' Hunter' Blake and we know something went on with Em we just weren't sure what happened.  Now we get to find out how it all played out.

I think with this book I found Em more kick ass then the other heroine's but I did find Hunter a bit less bad ass then the others. I don't know why I did and I know a lot will disagree with me on this but 'hey I'm allowed my own opinion'.

In Devil's Game it is the MC version of Romeo and Juliet.  Where Hunter whom is a Devil's Jack which happens to be the enemy of the Reaper's MC falls for the Reapers President's  daughter Em.  Em knows she shouldn't be with Hunter but the heart wants what the heart wants.

For the first time someone makes her feel like a wanted woman instead of the Reapers president's daughter.  With this union comes a big ol' shit storm that threatens to cause a big war between the MC's.  To get past this, egos need to be dropped and the men have to listen and keep an open mind because there is weakness everywhere in the ranks, causing a world of trouble.

There was MC alphas, drama, kick ass heroine and a great love story which to me always makes a great MC book for me.

4.5 MC Loving Thumbs up!

  1. Hmmm, I think I am going to cancel my pre-order for this one, I'm not big on kick-ass heroines and if the heroine is kick-ass PLUS the hero is less bad-ass? That does not sound good to me..

    1. It was really good and that is just my opinion if you go on goodreads this book was a favorite for others. It just wasn't my fave of the three. Hunter is still badass just not horse for me. I hope you still read it. :)
