Tiffany King (Goodreads Author)
Just when she thought things were going up…
Two years after a devastating breakup, Brittni Mitchell has moved on from Justin Avery—or so she tells herself. But when she returns to Seattle for her best friend’s engagement party, Brittni finds herself the victim of a disastrously timed elevator breakdown. She’s trapped with the last person she wants to face, and forced to recount the past she desperately wants to forget.
She’s going to have to look back…
When Brittni left her podunk hometown for a big city college experience at the University of Washington, hooking up with a guy like Justin Avery was not part of her plan. Between Justin’s attention-grabbing tattoos, cigarette smoking, and bad boy attitude Brittni quickly chalked him up as Mr. Wrong.” But his charm was unrelenting, and Brittni’s decision to give Justin a chance quickly turned into the worst choice she ever made.
So that she might be able to move forward.
Now she’s stuck with Justin—literally—and the complicated web of misunderstandings that tied up the truth for two years is about to unravel.

My Review ...
The original girl bond between Brittni & Tressa is strong but sometimes you have to live on your own to truly live.
For Brittni, she has always been private especially being the daughter of the town gossip. As soon as she graduated high school she went as far away as possible to free her wings. Here is where she gets a new bestie, a boyfriend and a broken heart."I'll miss you like a pussycat misses her tomcat, but I get it. ..."
2 years later she is still not recovered but is trying to move forward and live her life. Circumstances force her back to Seattle and her past as her and Justin get locked in an elevator for 6 hours. Being locked in forces them to deal with their demons and take responsibilities for their choices and actions. This is where we get to the heart of the matter and the crux of their issues.
Once this is dealt with, is it enough to move forward? Can Brittni move forward and leave Woodfalls again or can she be brave enough to let the past go and be happy?
Sweet story about love, heart break, loss, love and second chances.
3.5 Sweet Thumbs up!
