My Review...

Gah!! So I loved this book but....yes there is a but.

I loved the premise, loved the structure, loved Hunter, loved Sam but the two things that held me back was Ev been so obtuse and stubborn at the end and some of the dialogue seemed unrealistic at times. 

Otherwise we have Everleigh (Ev) who has had some bad luck in her life.  But what she does have is the best BFF with Sam who loves her and supports her no matter what. 

Due to a recent influx in assaults the girls take a self defense class where they meet Hunter but Ev's defense mechanism is sarcasm and with Hunter she hands it out in full force which does nothing but intrigue him. 

Their duelling repertoire of wit and banter creates a strong friendship but Ev falls deep when she shouldn't have. While Hunter keeps her at arms length his love and support are still beautiful.

However, tragedy happens and other truths comes out and hearts get broken and Ev becomes a stubborn oaf while Sam struggles to survive and carry on.

But with a little help bridges are mended and hope is given for both Sam's recovery and Ev's heart.

"I already knew, for me there is only you. No matter what happened between us in the future, it would only ever be you. I was made for you-only for you."
