Wyatt Banks is
ready to give one woman the world. Unfortunately, his job as a cop tends to
interfere with other goals. When Wyatt is sent deep undercover to investigate a
sex slave ring, he doesn’t have time to do anything but focus on staying alive
in a dark and dangerous underworld.
Wyatt isn’t
alone though in his quest to save the women that are being sold into sexual
slavery.
His partner,
FBI Agent Andrea Somerville, is immersed just as deeply as he is, and she’s the
bait to lure the sex slavers out into the open, as she poses as an erotic
dancer in an attempt to snare the enemy. But danger runs as high as the sparks
between them, and now Wyatt is caught between the job he loves and the woman he
wants.
WITH
A TWIST can be read as a stand-alone novel.
About the Author
USA Today Best-Selling author, Sawyer Bennett, is a snarky southern woman and reformed trial lawyer who decided to finally start putting on paper all of the stories that were floating in her head. She is married to a mobster (well, a market researcher) and they have two big, furry dogs who hog the bed. Part 4 in an ongoing series but can be read as a standalone
My With a Twist Review ...
This is book 4 in the Last Call series and it probably could be read as a stand alone but I read it
as a part of a series. This is where we finally get Wyatt's story.
Wyatt has been the stable, loyal best friend to Hunter and Brody. He has
always been there for everyone but he too wants his happiness but it is
hard with his job.
Wyatt is going back undercover where
he has to say goodbye to his friends and family while he dives deep
undercover not knowing when he will resurface. Since, Wyatt is such a
good guy it is hard for him to play the dark seedy character of Raze
while he tries to break a sex ring that is going on right under his nose.
Wyatt as Raze has to do unthinkable stuff to gain the trust of Simon the
slime. After gaining trust Wyatt/Raze becomes the man to find the
girls that will be sold to this ring.
Cue in the FBI ex-stripper named
Andrea, who can help with this task. As Wyatt first
meets the stuffy FBI he has his doubts that she can pull off a desperate
stripper. Even though she may appear stuffy Wyatt can't deny his
attraction but when he sees her new 'persona' Nikki O, he has a hard
time drawing the line but he will protect he no matter the costs.
Wyatt
and Andrea are forced into some compromising positions but what are
they willing to do to not blow their cover. As they both cross lines
things get heated. After this sting operation is done and lines were
crossed is Wyatt willing to go the distance?
Wyatt
doesn't want to leave his family and friends so it makes him stall on
going after Andrea but thankfully Andrea has bigger balls and goes after
what she wants. Andrea and Wyatt steam the sheets while they get to
know each other but Wyatt's friends won't be quite for long and want to
get to know Wyatt's girl. Instantly folding Andrea into their arms but
more confusion of the future for Wyatt and Andrea.
Since
Andrea was a little girl all she has wanted is to go to the BRIU within the FBI, so much she lost a fiance but what else is she willing to
give up? As things progress, Andrea and Wyatt have to make some choices
if they want this to work, but who is willing to give up what to help
them move forward?
Great book! Great Series! I'm such a big fan of Sawyer Bennett and she done it again with another great story. I can't wait to read more from this series and other Sawyer Bennett works.
4 Twisted with Love thumbs up!
Lauren
