Book & Author details:

Everything Between Us by Mila Ferrera
Publication date: November 5th 2013
Genres: New Adult, Romance

Synopsis:
Daniel’s got everything figured out. He makes a good living as an artist … mostly through offering “private shows” to the wives of local wealthy businessmen. He never stops playing the game and never lets anyone touch his heart. But when his current fling offers him a few hundred an hour for art lessons for her reclusive, college-dropout daughter, Daniel finds himself forgetting his own rules. The girl is rude. Insulting. Incredible.

And she sees straight through him.

Stella is hiding from the world, not because she wants to, but because crippling panic attacks await her every time she tries to live a normal life. She’s determined to push everyone–including her handsome new art teacher—away. But Daniel makes it utterly impossible. The guy is irritating. Mocking. Magnetic.

And makes her want things she knows she can never have.

What starts as a battle of wills turns into passion, where giving in means facing the things that scare them most.

Mila Ferrera lives in New England, where she has a family and a job and does various normal, everyday things, all while plotting novels in her head. She has a passion for writing new adult/adult romance featuring psychological twists and tortured heroes. Her own psychology internship involved plenty of consultation, but alas, no sexy Swedish doctors, and her decision to make one up is what sparked her self-publishing adventures. My Review...
This was my first Mila Ferrera book and I adored it. I can't wait to read more from her.
This book had a unique take on things and I loved the idea of the story.  I am always a huge fan of two broken souls becoming whole with the love for each other and Daniel and Stella did not disappoint.
For Daniel he puts on a show so no one can see who he really is.
For Stella she is caged in with the fear of panic.
The most unlikely duo but from the start they can see each other where no one else can.

Stella has a cow of a mother who is a self-absorbed, insecure tramp who doesn't understand the first thing about her own daughter so what better way to help her than with your lover.
Daniel first starts to help Stella for the money but it quickly turns to intrigue and he wants to get to know Stella more.
The more they get to know each other the more they start to like each other and give their relationship a chance.
At times I got frustrated with the assumptions, miscommunications and the whiny 'I don't deserve you' attitudes but the sweetness of triumph and becoming whole does overpower in the end.

Great story about second chances, strength, overcoming fear and love.

  1. Great review, Lauren. I often see miscommunication as the cause of a lot of drama in books and it's bittersweet for me bc I love drama but not miscommunication haha. I'm glad that the sweetness of it made up for it though it sounds like a great read!

    1. I agree with the bittersweet. It is starting to be a love hate theme for me in books.

  2. This book sounds really good. I'm excited to see how or if Stella gets through her fears
