Hell on Wheels (Bluewater Bay #3)

by

Nash is the reliable one in the Holly family, the guy everyone counts on to keep things going. His genius twin brother is off at university, so Nash runs the family’s auto repair business and cares for his partially-paralyzed little sister while his crackpot father invents. His life seems mapped out for the foreseeable future, however much that might chafe.

So when Wolf’s Landing actor Spencer Kepler-Constantine lands in his life, Nash is ready for a diversion. Spencer is in the middle of a very painful, very public divorce and isn’t ready for a relationship—not that Nash wants one. But they both need a friend, especially one with benefits.

As they grow closer, Nash starts to see his family in a whole new light. Do they really need him so badly? Or does he simply need to be needed? Then Spencer’s ex reappears with a grand romantic gesture, and Nash has to figure out what he wants—and how to get it—before Spencer’s gone for good.

My Hell on Wheels Review ...

Back to bluewater bay where we meet Nash Holly the dependable son and brother who likes to fix things and make people happy, and the prim and proper Spencer Kepler-Constantine who is in the middle of a very public divorce with this ex husband.

One night being stranded at the side of the rode changes everything for this unlikely duo.  Z.A. Maxfield has captured Spencer's uptight English ways that you can totally visualize and hear him in your head.   Nash just wants to be a friend and help Spencer but he's not opposed to more with this sexy English man.  But in the end he doesn't expect anything as he knows he's meant to take care of his family and Spencer is not meant for Bluewater Bay.

But when he starts to realize that maybe his family doesn't need him as much as he thought they did his world starts to shift.  As Nash and Spencer try to connect in this very public world things get rocky, especially when Spencer's time is up in Bluewater and his ex will do anything to get him back even keep his philandering dick in his pants.

As Nash's world comes apart he starts to question everything so when he believes Spencer has moved on it breaks his heart, but what he also realizes is that he does want more than what he has and won't settle for anything less.  As Spencer's world seems to right itself as he has always wanted it, he realizes that he too wants more and is tired of settling, so he as to go to extreme measures himself to convince Nash to be part of this world.

I freakin' adored these two together and this book. It totally hit the spot of what I was needing in a book.   Great book. Fabulous series.

4 Lovely when you least expect it thumbs up!
