My Garrett Review ...

So for someone reason Sports Romance are my Achilles heel and guilty pleasure. I don't know why but I do adore them. For the most part they are a fun escape. At times they're hard to read with the over the top world of behind the scenes sports. Knowing some pro athletes and wives it gives me a different perspective but I do still love these books.

We meet Garrett in Alex and I wasn't sure what was going to tame our resident 'player'. However, one brief meeting Garrett is a goner but will he go for the long haul when he finds out Olivia's secret?

Olivia has a terrible secret but being with no strings attached Garrett gives her a break from her bleak reality. What she didn't expect was for Garrett to also want to be part of her future. This book is technically a sports romance but it is also a breathtaking beautiful story.

Garrett is smitten and wants more but when he finds out that he may lose Olivia he has to figure out if he has it in him to go the long haul and not take the cowards way out. Because of his past choices no one believes he can do it, but faced with reality and not being there for Olivia he proves everyone wrong including himself.

Garrett may have never had a real relationship but let me tell ya he seems to know what he's doing. I definitely wouldn't throw him out of the bed for leaving crumbs. Garrett's love and commitment for Olivia is pure, devoted and beautiful but Olivia's current situation and head space causes her to push Garrett away when she needs him the most.

Heartache sucks but is it worth it in the end? For Garrett and Olivia they have to fight for so much more to have their HEA. For them HEA could mean something different but Garrett doesn't care, he will take whatever he can as long as he has Olivia in his life.
