Guns n' Boys: Homicidal Instinct (Guns n' Boys #2)

by

--- You can take a killer's memory, but not his instinct ---

All Seth wants is to live free with the man he loves. But escaping death at the hands of the mafia is just the beginning of an uphill struggle. When Domenico wakes up from his impromptu surgery and doesn’t even remember Seth’s name, Seth’s world falls apart. Suddenly it’s him who has to plan an escape from New York City and navigate their way to Mexico. All that without even knowing if the man of his life will ever love him again.

Domenico doesn’t know who to trust and what to believe. The man who introduces himself as his brother seems to hide dark secrets behind a cheerful smile. With the mafia breathing down their necks, there is no time to piece together the puzzle of Domenico’s life, and each time he thinks he’s solved it, a new part appears to be missing. Dom needs to find out who he really is, what he’s capable of... and what is the real story hidden behind Seth’s intense eyes.

My Guns n' Boys: Homicidal Instinct Review...

Gah! I wasn't sure how poor Seth was going to handle all the stress with Dom being down and out.  Life on the run is not what they thought it was going to be.  After Dom gets shot, he also loses his memory which has broken poor Seth's heart.

Now still on the run, even though Dom can't remember everything he still has his instincts.  Instincts that draw him to Seth even though he's his brother and instincts that save them again and again.  Poor Dom and Seth, Dom's memory loss is killing both of them in different ways.  For Seth, it's the loss of his love, while for Dom he misses his life but doesn't realize what is actually missing.

Now in an RV traveling across the states Dom and Seth form a new bond but a fragile one, until Seth cracks when Dom wants to go find some action elsewhere.  Now that the secret is out of the bag they can find a new way to be together.  But this time around for the boys it's more emotional and less sexually charged.  Don't get me wrong they are steaming up the RV but their relationship is different now.
The expression on his face was so hypnotizing it made Dom know who he was even if he didn't remember the past.  He was Seth's lover.  Seth's protector.  And he'd do anything to stay where he was at now.

Wanting the boys to have a easy ride was wishful thinking because you really can't leave the mafia unscathed.   As their pasts are right on their heels they are forced to deal with it head on.  Even though it isn't pretty it's also the missing link for these two.

In the end we are left once again with need to find out what is in-store for these boys.   I love this series and can't wait to follow these boys wherever they go.

4 RV Steaming thumbs up!
