My Hero Review...
It has been awhile since I read a GREAT book where I fell in love and was emotionally captivated and Hero fit the bill.
In
this book, we have Alexia Holland who is the illegitimate child to one of
the Boston elite families. After the loss of her mother, she begins to
lose it after finding out more answers to her father's sins.
Caine
Carroway has lived a hard life but has turned it into a rag to riches
success. After losing both his parents tragically he moves forwards but
doesn't forget the pain.
After some time off Alexia
comes back to work to walk right into the worst of her dad's sins.
Wanting to make amends for her father she tries to talk to Caine, but
he wants nothing to do with the offspring who basically killed his
parents.
Caine is quick to jump and get Alexia out of
his way. These consequences of her potentially losing everything causes Caine to cave into his guilt and give her a job as his personal PA, but that
doesn't mean he's going to be easy on her. If anything he's going to
make her life a living hell.

Caine and Lexie have a
strong love hate relationship but Caine begrudgingly has to admit that
Lexie is great at her job and that he wants her even though he tries to
fight it.
Their attraction to one another starts to
boil over causing them to give in but it's not all unicorns and
rainbows for this duo. No Lexie has to fight tooth and nail to break
down Caine's shield only to get repeatedly hurt along the way.
Their tumultuous relationship isn't enough as Lexie is now in danger and Caine is forced to shit or get off the pot.
Great
Dynamics. Great Story. Emotional roller coaster. Lots of steam and
passion and loads of love mixed with an amazing pseudo grandmother and a
devil child. Loved it!!!
